My name is Évi Bakos
I love being active and partaking in good activities, whether it is going to the movies, a concert, a trip, an excursion, or hiking.
I would like to try different types of sports as well. As a child, I participated in different sports competitions as a member of my school’s sports club, such as tennis, swimming and athletics.
I am really happy that Határtalan Erő Sports Club has been established and giving me a chance to do sports and exercise regularly and going to competitions, where I can challenge myself in various sports!
Besides doing sports, I also appreciate good company, which I have already found here, because the club leaders are putting great emphasis on building up a community.
Go, HETSE!
My name is Anna Zita Bíró and I am 31 years old. I love challenges. The most important things to me in sports are community, teamwork and a healthy amount of competition within our limit, as these always motivate me. I take/took every opportunity to make connections. As a child, I have spent 2 years on learning folk dance at school. Later in college, I got second place in a running competition, organized by the college’s “Fut a RIDENS” programme. I am also a proud member of a zumba group, which I joined 3 years ago. I was glad for the opportunity to join the Határtalan Erő Sports Club as a member, because it helps with maintaining both my physical and mental health and it keeps me in shape too. The first Boccia competition ended up being a success for me: I got second place. These things bring me joy and further inspiration. In the future, I would be glad to participate in dance lessons, if the opportunity arises.

In primary school I went horse riding and swimming regularly, but after I finished school, those oppotunities have disappeared. The reason why I want to join this sports club, because I consider regular exercise as important and I get more motivation from being in a team. It is good to work together for a common cause. I can be with my friends and I get to know new people as well. The club also makes it possible for me to try and learn about new sports that I have never tried doing before.

Later on, I was an assistant for a national Boccia team for 4 years, then after that I played wheelchair handball for 3 years.
At the moment, I am excited to get back into sports and I am looking forward to seeing the future holds and what kinds of competition await me.
My name is Gabi Illés and I always loved sports- although, I only watched them with enthusiasm at first. Ever since I started practising Boccia, I got to experience what real sportsmanship feels like, despite being in a wheelchair. I like that Boccia brings everyone together, because everyone can spend some quality time together in a welcoming atmosphere. I hope that I can improve my skills in the future and develop more strategies to lead me to victory.

As a child, I loved playing outside with my mother where we usually played badminton, or just with a ball. I played ping pong at school, went swimming and also tried floor hockey.
When I joined the Sports Club, I immediately became interested in learning how to play Boccia. Even my first attempts at it got me first place, because I play with precision and I am quite skilled at it by now.
To me, Boccia is not just a competitive sport, it is also a fun way to relax and let off steam.
I think that if you are good at any sports that you love, and think of it as an exciting and fun task, you will definitely succeed. It is the only way to progress in it- and then you will achieve the goals that you have set for yourself.

In the past, I played basketball and soccer for two years- these experiences were crucial to me. I am looking for a new type of sport to try, because I am open to challenges and self-improvement. Sports is a source of pleasure for me-it motivates me, fills me with energy, while reminding me that I can do it. I like team sports, but individual challenges as well. I believe that a good team can stick together and show everyone what we are capable of. Being part of a loving community really motivates me, where we support each other and push through our limits together.
My name is Laci Palay. For me, sports provide experiences, happiness and company. It is a great feeling when we can celebrate our successes together, while having a great time during practice or a competition. One of my reasons for joining is that I have read about doing regular exercise can not only improve physical health, but also your mental health as well. I consider both of these as important and I would like to improve myself further. I tried exercising at home before- mainly walking, as well as a few simple exercises (i.e. sit-ups and push-ups), but I barely held up on my own. However, at the sports club, there is a complete and well thought out training routine that I can follow- and this is way more motivating for me than trying it alone.

Go forth!

My name is Barnabás Szabó and I am a sportsman.
As someone who has been living with Down Syndrome, he started to familiarize himself with the world of movement experience very early on, as well motor habilitation therapy. These led to his love for swimming and he has been registered under Csalogány DSE as a swimmer and an athlete until the 2019.-2020. Covid pandemic. Besides athletics, he had skill for ball games as well and learning tennis seemed like a great opportunity for him. His great concentration skill has helped him in being discovered by Krisztina Kishalmi, who has properly introduced him into the world of ball games. Their mutual determination and dynamic work has managed to improve his skills in bowling competitions, then later he also earned achievements in Petanque and Boccia, which resulted in him becoming an official competitor in these games.
My name is Imre Tunyogi, I was born in 1986, so I am getting closer to my 40’s. I have tried playing many sports over the years- for example, soccer and basketball. Despite not earning any achievements in these, exercise has always brought me joy. In basketball, for example, I usually preferred to shoot hoops on my own and it became a form of relaxation and recharging for me.
In one way or another, sports has always returned into my life- whether it was a school competition, or other challenges. Based on these events, I have learned that participation and the whole experience is worth more than earning a medal. I have finally found my own sport: I have started running- just like other members did at the club.
I have started doing the whole thing alone at first, then I participated in different events: in Vivicitta, Ekiden relay race, 15 km marathons and Ultrabalaton as well. During Ultrabalaton, I was not only running, but also cycling and taking a bicycle carriage to complete different parts of it- I was not the most successful in the end, but I really gave my all during the race.
The reason why I joined this sports club is because I see it as a great opportunity for doing sports, and I am glad that I can be a part of this inspiring community.
